2023 LandMarks Photo Collection Winners

Congratulations to our winners

We are pleased to announce the winners of the  2023 LandMarks Photo Collection and showcase the images that will feature in the  2024 PGG Wrightson Calendar.

Winners were chosen from over 1000 entries, with each telling a story of something beautiful, hopeful, delightful or majestic about agriculture, horticulture or rural life in Aotearoa. Judges looked for pictures that tell a unique story, from the stillness of the early morning in a new day, to the joy in helping Dad in the shearing shed.

Supreme Winner

Congratulations to Charmaine Murphy, Taranaki, whose image Watching the Sunrise Before Starting Work was awarded the place of Supreme Winner in the LandMarks Photo Collection. On the morning the photo was taken, Charmaine and her husband had made an early start to muster ewes before the heat started. While waiting for her husband to reach the bottom of the paddock, Charmaine noticed the beautiful sunrise and her dogs Sharp and Quiz both looking in the same direction, and took the shot with the camera she often takes with her. The image will appear on the front cover of the 2024 PGG Wrightson Calendar. Congratulations Charmaine!
