Thank you to all participants in the 2024 LandMarks Photo Collection. With over 2,000 entries received, the 2024 competition has been the most popular LandMarks Collection of the past decade! 

Over the next two weeks, we’ll be taking a close look at each entry to check the images meet the competition terms and conditions, print a crisp image at the size required for our calendar, depict good farming practices and show healthy, well-cared-for stock. A shortlist entries will then go through to the final judging round at the start of August. During the judging, the panel will review high-resolution prints of the photos, and ensure images cover a range of agricultural scenes and locations throughout New Zealand. 

Winners will be contacted by phone or email shortly after judging has been completed and will have 14 days to provide the necessary consent documentation. It’s important that any people depicted in the photos have provided consent, so we’ll be checking that too.

Finally, 40,000 calendars will be printed in October and delivered to thousands of New Zealand rural letterboxes and PGG Wrightson stores in November. All winners will receive copies of the calendar.
